Official Title: 9-8-8 State Planning Grant

Missouri’s 9-8-8 Planning Grant is preparing Lifeline Centers in the state for the implementation of the 9-8-8 phone number which will supplement the current Lifeline crisis hotline number. With this funding, MIMH is assisting in developing a plan to ensure that centers are prepared for the increase in calls that will follow the change by addressing coordination, capacity, funding, and communication. Additionally, there is an aim to increase the answer rates in the state.

Technology Assisted Care Coordination for Substance Use Treatment

The goal of the project is to reduce the cost of emergency care, engage individuals with complicated challenges, and provide them with stabilizing evidenced-based interventions such as Motivational Interviewing and Critical Time Intervention.
