The former two focus on lethal means reduction as a method of preventing suicide, particularly safer storage strategies for firearms. They aim to train community members across the state on Conversations for Suicide Safer Homes, with a focus on the following populations: Service Members, Veterans, and their Families, faith leaders, first responders, and employers in occupations at high risk of suicide. The Missouri 988 Marketing Evaluation involves conducting surveys and focus groups across Missouri to measure and improve the effectiveness of DMH\u2019s marketing campaign. Hannah began her journey at MIMH as an intern in May of 2019, when she was completing her BA in Psychology at the University of Missouri \u2013 St. Louis. She then became employed part-time at MIMH while finishing her degree and accepted a full-time position upon graduation in December of 2020. Though she never imagined working in research or mental health, the work has been rewarding and aligns well with what is important to her.
