The responsibilities of the commit include maintaining and updating the mentoring manual, evaluating the mentoring program, developing training opportunities specific to enhancing mentoring skills. Additionally, the committee will work to pair new faculty with a mentor and will serve as a confidential contact for any concerns regarding mentor/mentee relationships. The committee will work with other committees as needed to coordinate training opportunities.
The committee currently meets every other month but will meet less frequently as time progresses.
