MIMH Communications Director Andrea Purnell was recently featured on the Nine Network weekly series Stay Tuned. The episode aired Thursday evening, May 14th  @ 9 pm, and focused on discussing how mental health is addressed in our region and how to overcome stigma associated with it.

Stay Tuned is guided by host Casey Nolen, the conversation each week focuses on one topic, and participants contribute using a full range of technologies, from television to Twitter, Facebook and Google Hangouts.

Purnell was joined by a number of knowledgeable guests to discuss the topic. Her fellow guests were Sonja Shin, NAMI Speaker, Theresa San Luis, NAMI Speaker, Dr. Saaid Khojasteh, Associate Network Director for Behavioral Medicine, SSM St. Joseph Health Center, Mark Norwine, The Walking Man, and Dr. Anjan Bhattacharya, Director Inpatient Psychiatric Services St. Louis University Hospital.
