The SAMHSA U.S. National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information is one of largest resources for current information and materials concerning substance abuse.
NIDA - National Institute on Drug Abuse : NIDA's mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction. This user friendly website offers information for parents, students, teachers, researchers, and health care professionals on substance abuse related issues. ATF - Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) is a law enforcement agency within the U.S. Department of the Treasury. ATF enforces the Federal laws and regulations relating to alcohol, tobacco products, firearms, explosives, and arson. CASA: The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse. National organization aimed to combat abuse of all substances—alcohol, tobacco, illegal and performance-enhancing drugs—in all sectors of society.
NYVPRC: National Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center. The National Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center's website is a central source of information on prevention and intervention programs, publications, research, and statistics on violence committed by and against children and teens. It also offers resources related to risk and protective factors for youth violence.

The purpose of this site is to educate teenagers about the dangers and consequences of drinking alcohol. It provides the user with a comprehensive list of links to alcohol related information such as alcohol and advertising, driving and drinking, and adolescent recovery.
Common Sense is a program created by National PTA, a not-for-profit association of parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities. The website contains information on the strategies for raising alcohol- and drug-free children.
Partnership for a Drug-Free America: This website has an excellent page of links on substance abuse divided by area of interest (e.g. prevention and treatment) and audience (parents, researchers, teens, etc).
Talk to your Kids: A site for parents, teachers and students who want to get information about specific drugs, how to talk with someone using drugs, and things you can do to help. Parents can find information on how to approach their child on "hard to talk about issues" such as violence and drugs.
