UCLA offers FAS course - Thursday, August 21, 2008

Attendees will learn how to implement the Children’s Friendship Training (CFT) program (Frankel & Myatt, 2003), an evidence-based, parent-assisted intervention for children who have social skills deficits. Attendees will also learn how to train other mental health professionals in this approach to social skills training. The CFT intervention has been adapted for use with children with FASDs and it has been demonstrated to be effective in both university and community settings.
