For Deaf Men and Women Ages 18-25...

So much of research focuses on negative things about being deaf - underemployment, academic difficulties, etc.  It is time to look at the positives.  I am a parent of a deaf daughter and I am very interested in studying what makes deaf people competent and successful.  If you are 18 to 25 years old and became deaf on or before age 2,  you are eligible to participate in a national research study being conducted by the University of Missouri - Columbia.

Let's tell the world what is right about being deaf!

The study is now closed to enrollment.  Please check back for updates on the findings.

Many thanks and best regards,

Debbie Zand, Ph.D.
